Develop excellent problem solving skills
No matter what you do in life – you're a problem solver. If you own a business, working as an employee, have children or are a human being – you have problems and deal with them. The most effective response to problems that you, the better your excellence in business and in life. Learning to solve problems effectively is a key major business and professional success.
But the problems are not fun to deal with. I do not have to deal with colleagues or my spouse in case of trouble. I do not always solve the problems in my neighborhood, community or family. It is not always easy, it takes work and it is often uncomfortable to deal with problems – but it is necessary.
There are times when I chosen to stick my head in the sand and pretend the problem does not exist. It may work for some time, but the problem happens the point where I have no other choice but to withdraw my head in the sand and deal with it. And often the time I spent in the sand allowed the problem for more. I had to learn repeatedly that ignoring problems is not the answer.
To be faithful to myself and my ongoing quest for excellence by day – I need to solve problems quickly and creatively while respectful of all parties concerned. Solving problems is not a natural process or even comfortable, but it can be learned. Practicing problem-solving expertise and one of us can learn to solve problems more effectively and not fear the do as much as we currently can.
Recognize.
Before we can solve a problem, we must recognize that one exists. We need to get honest about what is the problem, which was our share and reflect on some creative ways to manage the situation. Normally I like to take time alone and note the problem, possible causes and possible solutions. This process lets me see every angle and distance them from the situation long enough to see that it really is.
Focus.
And then before take any action, like watching things that work project, relationship or issue. By focusing not only on the problem, but also on positive things, I am able to release the emotions that often come when dealing with difficult situations or people. When my kids have a problem with me or someone else I am asking them to tell me something they like about that person. This reduces their defenses and we can treat the problem at hand.
Take time.
Problems should be solved immediately. Often I been in such a hurry to do things immediately and move on I do not take the time necessary to really solve creatively and look at the problem. We can take the time we need to solve the problem the best way possible. Often rushing into things can cause more problems. Although there are many problems that must be addressed immediately.
Act.
Act and take risks sometimes necessary to solve a problem can be scary. Fear often immobilizes us. Doing nothing is the worst things we can do. When we locked the problem we are often larger and let fears get out of control. We must take action a Once we decided on a plan. The movement is needed to solve problems.
Celebrate.
Once a problem has been managed to the best of your ability, take time to reverse the process and celebrate your success. If there things you would do differently next time – take note of this. But do not focus on what you could have done differently. Solving problems is process throughout life. Take time to acknowledge your success and the fact that you've solved the problem to the best of your ability today.
7 keys to effectively solve problems
- Identify. Identify the problem in one sentence or less. By reducing the problem to its simplest explanation – you are able to watch only the problem is not everything others that may the problem.
- Analyze the causes. Note three or four possible causes. This can help you find ideas to solve the problem later.
- Solutions. Write three possible solutions to the problem. Spend some time think about each solution.
- Choose. Choose the best solution to the problem and possible ways to write to implement the solution.
- Implement. Create a plan for implementation and then take the necessary measures.
- Get responsible. Find someone to help hold you accountable for your part of the solution and help others involved the problem of creating some responsibility for the actions they should take to solve the problem efficiently.
- Review results. When you have resolved the problem to the best of your ability to reverse the process. Analyze what worked, what did and not what you would do differently. Problem solving is a continuous process of learning. Make sure you use what you've learned to help solve future problems. And do not forget to celebrate your success.

Does anyone have any advice for pumps and filters for ponds?
Im talking about a pond between 1000-1500 gallons. only 2 meters deep. (It does not get that cold here ...) What are good reliable easy using filters for a pond this size? and where can I buy it? T Does anyone have an opinion on the Laguna PowerFlo external filter 4500, which is sold at Pets Mart? Could I make myself a natural filter? How about the pumps in good quality? Pumps sold in store for Lowe's Home Improvement good quality? Im referring specifically to the pump and waterfall 2000GPH 1300GPH submersible pump. I think the first would be a better choice than this one ... They are quite expensive at $ 170 and $ 160 respectively, or could I get a better bang for my buck? Sorry if im too specific ... you can if you Rant and want ... as long as its on the ponds. Any other advice would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
