How long can carp go without food? they are about average size.?
Hello. I have 5 Koi fish. I forgot to feed them for three days Friday and Saturday susnday because I thought my friends were fed. usually I see them when they come to the surface and I feed them. for three days, they were not activeand did not come for food, so I guess my friend fed them. I fed them on Monday. I noticed more and they will not eat. Today is Thursday, I found 1 dead this morning. now 2 more died. I checked and inspected the fish and its viscosity. what is wrong? Did they die of hunger or water more bad bacteria? recommendations? i have 2 more who are still alive.
Fish can go for at least 2 weeks without food. If they do not eat (and dropping dead), it indicates that you have a problem with your water quality. Koi fish are big and messy quickly pollute anything smaller than a small lake. If you have recently installed in an aquarium, then they are poisoned by their own waste ammonia. Make a water change to freshen GREAT conditions of water and see if they perk up. But Koi need a huge volume of water, keeping long-term under 1,000 gallons will be a problem. Ian

How to deal with garden snails Pesky Pest
Snails are an interesting species for many people. However, interest stops when these parasites are found in a well kept garden. This happens almost always to some extent that these creatures are still slow on the lookout for a good meal. The snail as a pest is a terrible thing. They can kill young plants by chewing their stems or eat seeds germinating before finishing. They eat irregular holes in leaves and this can lead to fast browning.
A single snail can do damage massive one plant, even in the space of one night. They have a purpose in nature, like any other creature. However, they are pests in the garden of high caliber and should be dealt with quickly and decisively. Snails concentrate on one place and live there until it must move or it is consumed. Rid a garden of this pest is a necessity. There are two ways to manage this feat. The first method is organic and the second method simply requires the gardener to disperse chemical pellets. Each method works well. The biological method of removing of these little slimy creatures to a garden is in fact in many forms. Snails come mostly at night as the sun can dry.
While is common to see a bit during the day, these snails are mostly looking for a cooler place to rest. The first way to remove a snail will be the most simple. When night came the gardener has to go outside with a flashlight and manually search for these parasites invade around the plants, they have been chewing on. If they discover the snails, they can then pick up and move them to a distant part of their yard or they can destroy them by stepping on them or drown them. The concept of drowning may be made to work as a trap for slugs and snails as well.
The gardener can dig a hole near their vulnerable plant and place a saucer of milk or beer in the hole. The wise gardener will ensure the lip of the saucer is a little above ground level to keep the beetles from falling too much. beetles eat snails, and they form one of the other methods of keeping snail population down. Natural predators such as snails, toads, ground beetles, like thrush and animals should be made ease in the garden to keep snails away naturally.

What is the best way to run power to an isolated pond with a sidewalk?
I have a band garden in my backyard the entire length of my fence. I would install a small pond with a fountain there. Unfortunately, it is separated from the span main court, including the bridge, where the electrical outlet, for a sidewalk. Is there an easy and safe for a do-it-yourselfer to get the cord on This section of the court, from the sidewalk? Keep in mind that I want to use the plug-in power source, and not to dig, shovel, rope, etc. easy, but sure, is the goal!

Brain Injury and post-traumatic stress are bad enough, but you do not expect to see what appears to her in the politicians stand for election, even if she comes face to the press. But in a candidate?
He was highly critical of Republican vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin, but none more so than following his interviews with Katie Couric. What seemed like softball and much anticipated questions for Ms. Palin has proved to produce answers completely incomprehensible that led analysts to meet with the absolute fear appears on their faces.
"I'm speechless," he said one commentator. Another called answers the most puzzling response to a question he had never heard of a politician. When another commentator tried to defend the weak response, he replied that the answer was indefensible how the commentator others agree.
But being a bit brain damaged myself, like most lawyers, and having sympathy for someone else who is, there could be another explanation. No, I'm not saying that Ms. Palin has gremlins or other things running in his head. I'm not even thinking it was abandoned as a baby. What if the first trauma of being selected to operate with John McCain and his media exposure has caused more suffering from PTSD or other malfunction of the brain to think too hard. We will reach her wardrobe down a minute.
Consider his inability to know the name of a single newspaper she reads or Supreme Court case she disagrees with besides Roe v. Wade. Consider his recent response to the question of what a vice president does. The Vice-President, she says, is "responsible for" the Senate and "can really go there with the Senators and make a lot of good policy changes. "You can imagine the laughter Senators who know at least that the work that the vice president in the Senate is to break ties.
Obviously, the team Protected if McCain Palin interviews and news media, they may not have been aware of any condition. Palin: Well, it certainly is because our neighbors to side are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the management. And there in Russia-Couric: Have you ever been involved in negotiations, for example, with the Russians Palin: We have trade missions back and forth. Where to go to repair a solar garden light novelty?
I have a "tree stump" novelty called the woodcutter. I'm looking for someone in Toronto (Etobicke) zone repair because it stopped working (no battery) Wal-Mart where I bought it did not assisstant at all.
I bought a lot of different novelty lamps solar, and I found that they simply do not last very long all. It would probably cost more to take an electrician or someone to fix it. Your best bet would be if you know someone who knows how to work with the wiring and let them do a test.
