Will Mollies, or seek to Koi or eating snails?
I have a HUGE snail. I bought it as a "golden snail" thinking it would die within a few weeks as snails As others before him. A year later and it's bigger than a golf ball. So he needs a bigger tank than it is in I a 10 gallon tank with a koi, and a gallon with 2 mollies 10 black. I also have a 30 with one gallon Chiclid electric blue, yellow and 1 chiclid could possibly snail move in there? Thank you
It would be great in the tank with the mollies (as long as you do not add salt) as others have mentioned. Personally, I have had Oscars in the past (each about 10 "long) and none of them had interest in large snails Small, yes -. But not as big as you say you can drop it. there and watch for a few minutes to see how they react. maintain a practice net to pick up support if necessary, but I bet it would be OK there. As for the koi in a gallon 10 - I hope that is a temporary measure put in place because a koi will need a space much larger than 10 gallons. They really are a fish pond, and grow very great. Once they are old enough, they will also eat snails, but the size it would still be alive in 10 gallon, the snail would be OK too.

Floating fountain or aerator?
Aeration: Choosing between an aerator and a fountain just for you pond aerator
In simple terms, aeration is adding oxygen to your pond. As expected by biologists at Kasco water, aeration has these benefits. Introducing oxygen can:
Allow greater density of fish, eliminating the risk to the spring and turnover Fall, winter kill caused by prevent low oxygen levels, Improve overall water quality, speed the rate of organic decomposition, reduce the amount of phosphorus, which would otherwise be available for plant growth, thermally and chemically delayer water, circulating currents cause that could create more favorable conditions for algae desirable to override the blue-green algae, reduce the severity of algal blooms and algae die-offs, and Shift level of carbon dioxide allowed to escape into the air, which could limit the amount available to plants (from Got Algae? )
Types of ventilation
There are several types of aerators: windmills, waterwheels, diffused air, horizontal units prop (at Kasco these circulators are called), artificial waterfalls, and a few others. Both aerators are the most commonly used pump vertical surface agitators (known by Kasco aerators) and the fountain aerator (also known as decorative aerators).
When to use a fountain-aerator (aerator decorative)
A fountain-aerator is used when the pond owner wishes to combine beauty with aeration. These units add oxygen and also a fountain display, which can generally be illuminated at night to create a "Bellagio" Indeed, although of course on a smaller scale. The advantage is aesthetic, the downside is that these studies provide only the transfer of oxygen an aerator is pure.
Surface (Prop.) Aerator
A surface aerator which gives a rate much higher oxygen transfer is quite portable and lightweight, and inexpensive for the movement of water supplied. These are not for decoration, though. Although very effective, they have no "wow" factor associated with them.

Is it safe for goldfish to be kept in enameled steel tub outside?
Its an old Bathtub steel enamel coating into a pond. There is a pump in there, plants, river stones, snails, water is clear and there is algae to fish to eat. For some reason the goldfish does not seem to survive more than six months into her. I only use rainwater for complete. And the pH level is always at the top end, I can not a lowering of pH. I'm at my wits end.
A bath would not provide enough gallons depending on the species Goldfish. Common Goldfish grow 14-18 "and the need 75-90 gallons. A Comet Goldfish reached 10-14 "and need 60 gallons. A bathtub filled up could probably hold a Goldfish which tops out at 90-10". Your goldfish will still need of 25% -50% water change every week to survive. If you do not have regular water changes, you lose your goldfish to ammonia levels toxic.

Building A Pond demand for hard work or a contractor for hire
When considering adding a water feature in your garden, there are several alternatives to help you build a pond. You can find kits that include everything needed. Virtually everything you need to do is dig a hole and, on the basis of size, you have a pond in action in a matter of hours.
