Choosing the Right Pond Skimmer
Skimmers Pond Koi Pond for Water Garden Koi Or
skimmers ponds are a essential part of any koi pond or water garden and is an important choice when considering the construction of an outdoor pool. Like all products there are many brands and sizes of pond skimmers to choose from. The factors that determine the size, number and brand are the size and shape of the pond, the number of fish and how many sheets are found in the pond. The main objective of the pond skimmer is browse debris and amino acids from the surface of the water before they have a chance to break and water foul. The act of skimming is created by the face plate or dam that has a floating gate. The reason the door is to ensure that floats most of the water entering the skimmer is from surface water at different water levels. From there, water passes through a network of leaves or a basket to catch and large debris can be emptied easily. Then the water passes through a mechanical filter pad is of course a filter or filter brushes. This acts as a mechanical filter and also provides biological filtration. The size of the pump must be at least 1100 gph @ wellhead pressure of 3 '. It is important to realize that koi can grow very rapidly and it is preferable to report that, in determining the requirements for water flow and filtration.
Once the water flow requirements were determined by the size of the skimmer can be determined. Most skimmers are noted in size by the number of gallons per hour maximum and minimum water they can handle. Choose the skimmer right pond and pool pump will make a differnece in the success of creating and maintaining a beautiful pond koi koi or water garden with fish healthy. It is better to spend money on the front and not have to upgrade or replace these two vital parts of water the pond later. Buying a cheap skimmer pond or pond pump are not always save money.

Last few days I watch very little / small snails to eat my chili and tomato plants. I am removing these snails from the sheet, but still growing everyday. Can I use anything to protect small snails. Please help me.

Prince Edward Island National Park is located on the north coast. It offers two historic sites, and sandstone cliffs, wetlands and sand dunes come to explore. So much to do in Prince Edward Island National Park that you will be hard to leave when the time comes.
The beaches are a good place to start if you like sun and water. The white sandy beaches Sea and sky blue are perfect for lounging an afternoon of relaxing summer. Most beaches in the park are guardians of life, but some do not. This is not a problem if you are good swimmer at home in water. If you are traveling with younger family members who do not swim well, then it would be wise to use one of the beaches with guards on duty most of the time.
Or maybe you enjoy kayaking or canoeing, which is an excellent way to observe wildlife and landscape of the park in their natural habitat. Motorboats are prohibited on the ponds of the park, or in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Prince Edward Island National Park is filled with hiking trails, some with floating boardwalks. These walks allow you to see up close and personal in wetlands and the wildlife that inhabits them. Historically minded individuals should make a straight line to Green Gables or Dalvay by the Sea. Both are historic sites. Dalvay by the Sea is a large Victorian house which has now been transformed into a hotel and restaurant operated by the Parks Department. The rooms are mainly rented by those looking to spend over a day inside the National Park.
Just because you can get to the park in summer, is not a reason to stay away. There are a lot of activity in winter as well. Cross country skiing is probably the time the most popular golf course Green Gables, Bubbling Springs Trail and Forestry. There are several trails and warming shelters. Be cautious and check conditions Snow in the region before heading out on the trails.
In addition, the Park Service offers many programs in French and English on many subjects natural and cultural heritage of the region. Stop at the park office for times, or guides and make sure and check the scoreboard for new items of interest. You will not regret it.

Question to all you reptile keepers out there.?
Lets say that there was a reptile tank with the following, like somthing thats about 5′ long, 30″ wide since that is about as wide as they can get for moving sake, and lets say 5 feet tall. Now imagine that, with lets say, screen mesh sides, nice wooden frame, big door for access, big sturdy branchs running all over inside, vines hanging down and on the roof, big pond sized water bowl, and water fall to keep the water active, lets say 30g of water. What else, realastic hide, wood chip bottom, and umm lets go high class with a fogger for humidity. Plus this all comes with bedding, heat pads and heat lamps, spot lamps and flourescent for looks. Also real tropical plants growing in there. Now Im not selling anything like this, I wish i had this, but how much would pay for somthing that nice? Im thinking like $800. Whats your input, would you actually invest in it? How much? Is it worth it? Thanks a lot guys and gals!
