About the Editor
I was born in Texarkana, and being a native Texan, I am a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. However, for the last 16 years, I’ve been living in the Bay Area of San Francisco (Walnut Creek to be exact—right above the secret tunnels the US Navy used to ferry nuclear weapons to their ships waiting moored in the bay!)
I love the Bay Area because there’s so much to do and see. You can take day-long vacations to Mount Tamaulipas, the beach, the Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, and so many other great places and have wonderful restaurants and accommodations within walking distance!
And the bay itself is amazing!
In fact, it’s because I love living so close to the water that I founded this website: there’s just something about water that calms my inner spirit. I love the sound of the ocean or water burbling down a stream—and it’s just the same when the water is trickling over rocks in a fountain. I often fall asleep to the sound of my own soothing indoor fountain. I even have one on my desk at work and I know that’s part of the reason I’m so able to deal with what the world throws at me.
However, the abrupt passing of my father, mother and brother has caused me to rethink my priorities. My wife and I have two daughters and one grandson–who is a chip off the old block! I also have a son Keith M. Martin whom I love dearly. I love to spend time playing video games and horsing around with my kids.
My “real” job for the past 16 years has been in the Stationary Engineering industry (heating and cooling systems for industrial factories, plants, and other commercial buildings) but because of my need to move, I will be fully self-employed upon my return to my hometown.
I’m excited by the prospect of being my own boss and having the opportunity to spend as much time with my father as possible before it’s too late. It’s a breath of fresh air not having to punch a time clock and having the freedom to travel more in the future is tempting indeed.
I really enjoy helping folks and by launching InfiniteWaterFountains.com, I know I’ll be able to reach a global market and help them make informed decisions about the products I offer. I welcome you to my site and hope you will visit often.
